Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, IT, Engineering, or related field [or equivalent experience]

5 to 8 years’ experience in a telecom or ISP environment

Strong hands-on experience in FTTH / ODN networks

Minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience in NOC / OSS management

Good understanding of FTTH, ODN, and GPON architecture

Experience with OTDR, power meter, and ODN loss budget calculation

Familiar with OSS tools, NMS, and ticketing systems

Work will be assigned by shift.

Responsibilities

Job Purpose

To ensure 24/7 stable operation of the FTTH Network, including ODN, and to lead the NOC and OSS teams.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Network Operations (NOC)

Monitor ODN / FTTH network 24/7 (fiber cuts, power issues, device alarms)

Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for network faults, outages, and

performance degradation

Monitor and control SLA, MTTR, and network availability KPIs

Lead incident management and escalation during major outages

Coordinate with vendors, field teams, and contractors

 

Operation Support System [OSS]

Manage OSS systems [Inventory, Provisioning, Fault & Performance Management]

Maintain accurate and up-to-date ODN asset inventory (fiber core, splitter, ODF, closure)

Optimize new service provisioning and service activation processes

Maintain network data, as-built drawings, GIS, and logical diagrams

 

ODN / FTTH Network Management

Verify ODN design compliance (split ratio, loss budget)

Analyze fiber loss and attenuation trends and implement preventive actions

Enforce acceptance testing standards (OTDR, power meter)

Support network expansion, migration, and rearrangement plans

 

Team & Reporting

Manage, coach, and mentor NOC and OSS engineers

Develop and update SOPs, workflows, and escalation matrices

Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly network performance reports

Provide technical updates, risk analysis, and improvement plans to

management
