Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Urban Planning, Project Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is preferred.

- PMP® Certification (Project Management Professional)

- Minimum 7 years’ experience in managing public infrastructure or smart city projects.

- Demonstrated experience in setting up large-scale projects from concept to launch.

- Strong understanding of stakeholder engagement, vendor management, and municipal processes.

- Familiarity with digital signage, urban information systems, or IoT-based civic solutions.

- Proficiency in project management tools.

- Provide regular updates, dashboards, and recommendations to senior management/board

Responsibilities

Project Setup & Initiation:

- Define project scope, objectives, high-level requirements, and success criteria in consultation with key stakeholders.

- Develop the Project Charter, obtain necessary approvals, and establish the structure.

- Conduct feasibility studies, cost-benefit analysis, and stakeholder impact assessments.

- Prepare detailed project initiation documents including risk register, communications plan, and procurement strategy

- Identify and engage key internal and external stakeholders including urban planners, IT teams, legal advisors, vendors.

- Set up project documentation framework and effective tracking and reporting.

Project Planning & Execution:

- Develop roadmap, manage timelines, budgets, and resources for CIP rollout.

- Develop a comprehensive project plan covering scope, budget, schedule, quality, resources, and risk management.

- Coordinate vendor onboarding, contract negotiations for hardware, software, and maintenance.

- Coordinate location mapping, permitting, and civil readiness with local authorities and engineering teams.

- Coordinate hardware and software integration for the digital panels including content management

- Manage cross-functional teams through project phases, from prototyping to full-scale deployment.

- Conduct regular status meetings, project health checks, and stakeholder updates.
