Requirements

·       A university degree in Commence, Accounting or Business. A graduate degree in Accounting or Management is preferred. If not a graduate should have other qualifying experience or education in auditing or accounting for at least three years.

·       Must have good working knowledge of computerised accounting systems.

·       Strong skills are required in auditing and accounting practices.

·       Must have good written and oral communication skills both in English and Myanmar language.

·       Maturity and well organized and willingness to work under pressure of constant deadlines is important attributes.

Responsibilities

Position Purpose

·       This position is to conduct an audit of branches and head office in accordance with VisionFund Policies and Procedures and shall review and evaluate the internal control and accounting systems of branches and head office and recommend corrections, improvements and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

·       Conducts audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, accuracy of financial records, and efficiency of organizational operations using professional audit standards and practices.

·       Review management responses to the audit recommendations and follow-up with related branch or head office to clear irrelevant responses as may be assigned.

·       Prepares reports of audit results and recommendations to management using good written skills.

·       Conducts compliance reviews of organization records to ensure compliance with Government statutory requirements in areas including but not limited to taxation laws, employment law and any other applicable local requirements.

·       Developing annual audit engagement plan
