Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are preferred.

At least 3-5 years of experience in network engineering or a similar role within the telecom or IT sectors.

Strong understanding of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and firewall configuration.

Hands-on experience with network devices (routers, switches) and troubleshooting techniques.

Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on analytical thinking.

Proficiency in configuring email clients and resolving related issues.

Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.

Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Ability to work under pressure while meeting tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

1.     Plan, design, and implement network infrastructure to support organizational needs.

2.     Install and configure networking hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.

3.     Ensure that all network devices are properly configured for optimal performance and security.

4.     Provide technical support for computer systems, networks, and software issues reported by users.

5.     Troubleshoot hardware issues with hands-on experience to resolve problems efficiently.

6.     Configure email clients and troubleshoot related issues to ensure seamless communication.

7.     Configure firewalls and implement security measures to protect sensitive data from unauthorized access.

8.     Monitor network performance and integrity, identifying potential vulnerabilities or threats.

9.     Conduct regular security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

10.  Design, deploy, maintain, and upgrade functional networks to meet evolving business needs.

11.  Monitor network performance metrics and resolve issues escalated by other support tiers.

12.  Automate routine tasks to improve efficiency and monitor their effectiveness.

13.  Maintain complete technical documentation of network configurations, procedures, and changes.

14.  Prepare regular reports on network performance, security incidents, and system upgrades for management review.

15.  Propose improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability based on analysis of current operations.
