Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• CA, CPA, CFA, or MBA (Finance) preferred.
Experience
• 8-10 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the mobility, transport, or EV sector.
• Experience in fleet management, rideshare business, or renewable energy financing is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of EV business models, financial regulations, and tax incentives.
• Expertise in financial forecasting, cost analysis, and pricing strategies.
• Proficiency in financial software (SAP, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Strategy
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s business goals.
• Forecast revenue, costs, and profitability based on fleet operations and market trends.
• Conduct financial risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
Budgeting & Cost Control
• Prepare and manage annual budgets for the EV taxi fleet, charging infrastructure, and operational expenses.
• Monitor and control costs related to fleet maintenance, charging stations, and driver incentives.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
• Ensure accurate financial reporting, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Maintain compliance with tax laws, government incentives for EVs, and transport industry regulations.
• Coordinate with auditors for financial audits and reporting.
Revenue Management & Pricing
• Analyze pricing models for rides, leasing options, and subscription plans to maximize revenue.
• Monitor subsidies, incentives, and tax benefits related to EV adoption.
• Develop strategies to optimize ride fares while maintaining affordability and profitability.
Investment & Funding

• Evaluate financing options for fleet expansion, including leasing vs. purchasing EVs.
• Manage relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions for funding requirements.
• Identify opportunities for government grants, carbon credits, and green energy financing.
Operational Finance & Payment Systems
• Oversee driver payment structures, including commission models, revenue sharing, and incentive plans.
• Monitor charging station costs, electricity tariffs, and partnerships with energy providers.
• Implement efficient billing and payment systems for customers and drivers.
Technology & Data Analytics
• Use financial analytics and AI-based forecasting models for decision-making.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate digital payment solutions and ride-hailing app analytics.
• Track EV battery efficiency, depreciation rates, and lifecycle cost analysis.
