Requirements
- Any degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field (or relevant experience)
- 2 to 4 years of proven sales and marketing experience in the logistics industry
- Strong understanding of logistics operations and services.
- Ability to achieve sales targets.
- Strong customer relationship management skills.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in logistics services, including freight forwarding, transportation, warehousing, and supply chain solutions
- Generate leads through cold calling, client meetings, referrals, and networking
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
- Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations, and service agreements
- Negotiate contracts and successfully close deals to achieve monthly and annual sales targets
- Coordinate closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth service delivery
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities
- Plan and execute effective marketing strategies to promote logistics services
- Maintain accurate sales records and prepare regular sales reports
- Attend client meetings, industry events, and trade shows as required
